Nick has over 30 years of music teaching experience. In his current job as Head of Jazz and Contemporary Music at Sevenoaks School he teaches saxophone, jazz, improvisation, music technology and directs ensembles. His teaching style focuses on fun and enjoyment of the music and lessons are always as practical as possible.

Nick has a long record of success entering students for grade examinations and, in recent years, has had over 25 students pass the LCM Jazz Performance Diploma.

Lessons available are as follows:

• Saxophone - beginner to all levels

• Jazz improvisation - to any standard on any instrument

• Music technology - Logic Pro X, Sibelius and audio recording techniques 

At present Nick is not taking on any weekly private saxophone teaching work however he is available for one-off lessons during school holidays. 

Lessons take place at Nick's home in South East London or can also be via Zoom or FaceTime.
